Normality is now returning to many Masonic Lodges throughout the island of Ireland with an influx of Installations.
It has been 3 years since we last installed a new Worshipful Master, and this year also saw our first formal celebratory installation dinner at Galwally House in Belfast.
There was a tremendous atmosphere of fraternal friendship during the meeting on Saturday 14 January 2023 with a number of distinguished visitors in attendance.
The outgoing Worshipful Master opened the Lodge and welcomed everyone before thanking the Brethren for their support during the past three years in office. He then installed his successor, W. Bro. RH Bryans in the usual time honoured tradition.
This having been done the new Worshipful Master then proceeded to install his Officers in an exemplary manner.
The Worshipful Master, W. Bro. RH Bryans is no stranger to the mysteries of the Installed Master, having previously occupied the Chair of our Lodge in 2013.
The festive board was dignified with the Worshipful Master being conducted into the dining room in the traditional manner before all enjoyed a three course dinner, a few drinks, several toasts, a few jokes, some magic tricks and a few songs. A couple of potential candidates also joined Brethren for the evening and we hope to see them again soon.
Altogether an excellent evening of merriment and the many visitors were made very welcome with fraternal friendship, great food & with peace, love & harmony among the Brethren obvious for all to see & enjoy.
